Structural Codes Let us ensure that your building is in sound condition. We check structural content and deterioration from the elements, and then explain how do any necessary repairs. Our inspections must conform to Massachusetts State building code: 266CMR.
Mechanical Inspection This inspection includes checking your plumbing system and ventilation. We will list all the necessary repairs for the plumbing and air-conditioning systems and refer you to a licensed contractor who will handle the repairs. Common mechanical troubles include faulty pipe installations, blocked vents, and missing or damaged plumbing components.
Electrical Inspection We inspect all service cables coming into the building, check the weather heads, and open up the electrical service box to ensure it is wired and grounded correctly. Next we do a test on all accessible electrical outlets to see if they're wired and grounded correctly. We will refer any repairs and upgrades to a licensed electrician.
Pre-sale Inspections Smart homeowners often have a pre-sale inspection performed for their own benefit before selling a house. Our service covers an entire general home inspection, including finding signs of mold or rodent activity. You can use this information to either fix the problems or as list for the potential buyer in a disclosure statement.
Title 5 Inspections We are licensed DEP inspectors trained to inspect the components of the septic tank to make sure it is functioning properly and fits all the criteria mandated by DEP. This inspection is mandatory by the State of Massachusetts before a house can be sold.
